About this course
This course teaches Swedish from the very beginning, so no Swedish is needed. Every lesson is a short written page that explains one idea in English and shows it in Swedish examples.
All nine chapters of A1 are ready, in three parts of three chapters. They are Meeting People, People and Places, My Day, Everyday Choices, Around Town, Making Plans, Last Weekend, Family Days, and Work, Health and Weather. Each chapter has six to eight lessons and ends with a reading text, a dialogue and the vocabulary of the chapter. Six of the chapters also have a lesson on the sounds of Swedish. Swedish has five levels, from A1 to C1, and the Swedish overview shows them all.
Use a free account for the Learning Path. Work through the nine chapters in short practice steps, return to your mistakes, or build a test from selected chapters and lessons. Your answers, results and progress are saved to your account so you can continue on another device. Checkpoint tests open as their question sets become ready. The lessons and vocabulary stay free to read.
