Chapter 2, lesson 17

Reading and Dialogue, People and Places

A short original text about a family and its home in a small Swedish town and a dialogue about a missing key, with word help and an English version to open when you are ready.

Text, Hemma

My name is Marta and I live in a house in Knivsta. Jonas is my partner. He is forty-two and I am thirty-seven. We have two children. Ida is my daughter and she is nine. Viktor is my son and he is six. We also have a cat and a dog.

The house has three bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a living room. There is a sofa and a lamp in the living room. My computer is in the kitchen, next to the window. Viktor’s bike is in front of the house and the dog is in the hall.

Where is the cat now? It is not in the kitchen. It is under Ida’s bed!
